About Effica

Effica is a practitioner-led virtual menopause clinic providing evidence-based care for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Care is delivered by licensed healthcare professionals and designed specifically for this stage of life.

Effica provides personalized menopause care across the full spectrum of the transition, from early changes through later stages, with a focus on clarity, prevention, and proactive support.

Effica currently offers virtual care in AB, ON & BC, with plans to expand to the rest of Canada soon.

How to Get Started

Care at Effica begins with Assess360, our comprehensive menopause assessment. Assess360 is the foundation of all practitioner-led care and sits at the core of every Effica package.

Assess360 is a structured, whole-person clinical assessment led by a licensed clinician. It brings together your symptoms, medical history, risk factors, and goals to create a clear, personalized understanding of your menopause health.

Menopause is complex and highly individual. Assess360 ensures care is informed, personalized, and clinically appropriate from the start.

What to Expect from Assess360

You will complete a detailed intake followed by a practitioner-led virtual appointment. Together, you will review your symptoms, concerns, and priorities, and begin building a clear plan forward.

Yes. Assess360 is designed to provide clarity. You will receive personalized clinical guidance, treatment considerations, and recommended next steps.

Assess360 is included in all Effica packages and is not offered on its own. It provides a complete clinical foundation, with the option to continue into ongoing care based on your needs.

No. Not all clients require lab work.

If labs are ordered, your clinician will guide you on timing and next steps.

Fasting depends on the specific tests ordered. Instructions will be provided if needed.

If indicated, Effica will provide a lab requisition to take to a local lab and may be able to assist in finding a location depending on where you reside.

Prescriptions and Follow-Up

If prescribed, medications are sent according to provincial regulations. Your clinician will explain next steps.

Timing depends on the pharmacy. Your pharmacy can provide pickup details.

Medications prescribed by another provider remain under that provider’s care, and any questions or concerns should be directed to them. Effica clinicians will not change or discontinue existing medications unless there is a clinical reason to do so, and any recommended adjustments will be discussed with you in detail during your virtual visit.
